This is so BEAUTIFUL!
Malachi 3:3 says: "He will sit as a Refiner and purifier of silver."
This verse puzzled some women in a Bible study and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God.
One of the women offered to find out the process of refining silver and get back to the group at their next Bible Study. That week, the woman called a silversmith and made an appointment to watch him at work. She didn't mention anything about the reason for her interest beyond her curiosity about the process of refining silver. As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up.
He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest as to burn away all the impurities.
The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot; then she thought again about the verse that says:
"He sits as a refiner and purifier of silver." - ( God is in the midst of it all )
She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in front of the fire the whole time the silver was being refined. The man answered that yes, he not only had to sit there Holding the silver, but he had to keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. If the silver was left a moment too long in the flames, it Would be destroyed.
The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked the silversmith, "How do you know when the silver is fully Refined?" He smiled at her and answered, "Oh, that's easy -- when I see my image in it"
If today you are feeling the heat of the fire, remember that God has his eye on you and will keep watching you until He sees His image in you.
This very moment, someone needs to know that God is watching over them. And, whatever they're going through, They'll be a better person in the end.

LOVE AND LUST (DIFFERENCES)
Some weeks back, I forwarded the similarities between lust and love and I promised to forward the differences as soon as possible before I went on a short break.
Here are the differences
1. Love takes a long process, the feelings grow in time but lust is felt instantly and it can also cause damages to one’s heart
2. Love doesn’t play with one’s heart but lust is a game played in the mind
3. Lust is what keeps you wanting to do it even when you have no desire to be with each other. Love is what makes you want to be with each other even when you have no desire to do it
4. Love focus on one person while lust may claim to be in love with several people at the same time
5. Love promotes positive behavior while lust has devastating and destructive effect
6. True love believes in compatibility while lust disregards it
7. Love is selfless, lust is selfish
8. Love is about who you are and who the other person is and not what he/she has
9. Love is about what you can give while lust is about what you can get
10. Love is euphoric feeling while lust focus on sex
11. Love is about passion, attachment, intimacy, commitment while lust is about sexual desire
12. Love is a connection of your soul with someone else’s. It’s settling your differences, dealing with conflicts as one person, not two separate entities while lust is the desire and belief that everything is yours. No thought put into the other person’s feelings
13. Love does not expect anything in return and desiring the best for the other person while lust is caring about the other person because of what he or she can give to us.
It is very important to remind you that both LOVE AND LUST can lead to marriage. One is lasting but the other is not. Be careful to venture into any relationship because these two entities look alike and very difficult to differenciate. It takes the grace of God to differnciate them.
Also, note that how people act in love or think in love is influenced by their conceptions of love.
Finally, I wish a successful relationship and may the almighty God open your eyes to make your decisions right.

LOVE means Learning Openess Very Faithful Example
Love is difficult to define because of diversity of uses and meanings.
Love is any number of emotions related to a sense of strong affection and attachment.
Love has three components: Intimacy,commitment and passion.
LUST in the other hand means Loving Under Sexual Transparency.
Lust is the blind cover to shield the meaning of love but to keep the passion and excitement that urges a person to intimacy.
Lust and love are usually mistaken for themselves. This two has become a part of society that people cannot differenciate between the two feelings. Love and lust has so many similarities while they are two different things.
Here are the similarities:
1. Love is passionate and exciting kind of feelings that only few share while lust is the feeling that almost everyone comes to feel. Both are passionate and exciting, but the difference that few share love but almost everyone share lust but it is mistakenly believed as love
2. Both can hurt one's feeling and at the same bring joy into one's life, but one is real and the other is false. Both can make a person happy but sometimes sad.
3. Though lust is false, the feeling is still strong, because it transform itself into love.
4. Love and lust carry the desire to have their dreams fulfilled and both can cause sexual desires
5. Infact, both love and lust can lead to marriage. One is lasting but the other is not.
All these makes it difficult to differenciate between love and lust.
So how do you know if you are in love or lust?
Always find means to love someone. Avoid pre - marital or extra - marital sex. There is more to love than sexual intercourse. Therefore search yourself if you are love or in lust because both really look alike.
Watch out for the differences soon.

The man and his gun
There was a man who had nothing for his family to eat. He had an old shotgun and three bullets. So, he decided that he would go out and kill something for dinner.
As he went down the road, he saw a rabbit and he shot at the rabbit and missed it. Then he saw a squirrel and fired a shot at the squirrel and missed it.
As he went further, he saw a wild turkey in the tree and he had only one bullet, but a voice came to him and said, "PRAY FIRST, AIM HIGH, and STAY FOCUSED."
However, at the same time, he saw a deer which was a better kill. He brought the gun down and aimed at the deer. But, then he saw a snake between his legs about to bite him, so he naturally brought the gun down further to shoot the snake.
Still, the voice said again to him, "I said 'PRAY, AIM HIGH and stay FOCUSED." So, the man decided to listen to the voice. He prayed, then aimed the gun high up in the tree and shot the wild turkey.
The bullet bounced off the turkey and killed the deer. The handle fell off the gun and hit the snake in the head and killed it.
And, when the gun had gone off, it knocked the man into a pond. When he stood to look around, he had fish in all his pockets, a dead deer and a turkey to eat.
The snake (Satan) was dead simply because the man listened to God.
Bottom line : Pray first before you do anything, aim and shoot high in your goals, and stay focused on God.
Never let others discourage you concerning your past.
The past is exactly that - " THE PAST." Live every day one day at a time.
And remember that only God knows our future and that he will not put you through any more than you can bear. Do not look to man for your blessings but look to the Lord. He can open doors for you that only He is able to do. Doors that you will not slip through but doors that only He has prepared in advance for you in your favor. Wait, and be still: keep God first and everything else will follow.

Test of Christianity

Some weeks after he arrived, he had an occasion to ride the same bus. When he sat down, he discovered that the driver had accidentally given him twenty pence too much change. As he considered what to do, he thought to himself, you better give the twenty pence back. It would be wrong to keep it.
Then he thought, oh forget it, it's only twenty pence. Who would worry about this little amount? Anyway, the bus company already gets too much fare; they will never miss it. Accept it as a gift from Almighty God and keep quiet.
When his stop came, the Pastor paused momentarily at the door, then he handed the twenty pence back to the driver and said "Here, you gave me too much change." The driver with a smile replied "Aren't you the new pastor in this area? I have been thinking lately about going to worship at your church. I just wanted to see what you would do if I gave you too much change."
When the Pastor stepped off the bus, his knees became weak and soft. He had to grab the nearest light pole and held for support, and looked up to the heavens and cried "Oh God, I almost sold Christianity for twenty pence!"
Remember, we may never see the impact our actions have on people. Sometimes we are the only knowledge of Bible someone will read, or the only Christian a non-christian will see. What we need to provide, is an example for others to see. Be careful and be honest everyday, because you never know who is watching your actions and judging you as a Christian
